️Why Are Campus Pop-Up Prices Up to 75% Off, But Online Is 30–50%?
At College Liquidation, we believe in keeping prices as low as possible — but even more than that, we believe in showing up for students face-to-face. That’s why our deepest discounts — up to 75% off — are reserved for the place where the real magic happens: our nonprofit campus pop-up events.
These events are powered by:
- Student volunteers and ambassadors
- Local organizations and clubs we partner with
- Bulk activation efforts that reduce operational costs
- The mission-first spirit of giving back where it matters most
Because of this, we’re able to pass along unbeatable savings that often feel too good to be true — and that’s by design. It’s one of the core ways we restore dignity, equity, and affordability to student life.

Who Runs College Liquidation?
College Liquidation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit founded by students, for students. Our national operations are led by a small full-time team, while events are powered by student volunteers, campus chapters (CLX), and registered student orgs.
We partner with Greek life, cultural clubs, business societies, sustainability orgs, and more, to bring each event to life.
Is This Sustainable?
Yes — sustainability is a core part of our mission. We:
- Divert thousands of pounds of unsold merchandise from landfills
- Track how much waste we’ve helped prevent
- Partner with local orgs to responsibly recycle leftover materials
- Donate unsold goods through nonprofit partnerships
Every purchase = reduced waste + better access.
What’s the Benefit to My School or Club?
We work hand-in-hand with student orgs to:
- Raise money for their group through revenue-sharing
- Provide volunteer hours and leadership opportunities
- Boost engagement across campus
- Give members priority access to products and partnerships
If you're part of a student org or RSO, we’d love to collaborate.
How Often Are Pop-Ups Held?
We aim for as many pop-ups per semester per school as we can, where we’re active. Each event typically runs for 3 days, and features completely new inventory, seasonal collections, and special drop alerts for members.

Where Does the Money Go?
College Liquidation is a nonprofit organization. Every dollar we make gets reinvested back into:
- Paying student interns and pop-up staff
- Purchasing new inventory
- Expanding to more underserved campuses and schools
- Creating and building free student resources, mental health support, job prep workshops, and other programs
- Covering event operations and storage costs
- Staffing pop-ups with students
- Operating and logistics costs
- And more…
We believe students deserve access, dignity, and transparency — and our finances reflect that. We are proud to operate with transparency and mission-alignment. Every purchase = impact.
Can Alumni or Parents Shop Too?
Absolutely. Our mission starts with students, but it expands to include alumni, parents, supporters, and friends of the cause. Whether you’re shopping for your dorm or just supporting the mission — you’re welcome here.
Can I Donate More or Sponsor a School?
Yes! You can give a one-time donation or become a monthly Drip+ donor starting at just $5. We also offer sponsorship packages for businesses, foundations, and alumni groups who want to bring our program to new schools or fund larger initiatives.
What’s CLX, CLUE, and CLIC?
These are our student-facing, mission-aligned program branches:
- CLX (College Liquidation Exchange): Our on-campus student chapters
- CLUE (College Liquidation for University Equity): Our wellness and inclusion wing
- CLIC (College Liquidation Impact Collective): Our national organizing and sustainability arm
All of them help ensure that every campus event is rooted in equity, opportunity, and environmental stewardship.
Can I Return or Exchange My Items?
All sales are final.
Because of the unique nature of our model — selling heavily discounted, limited-quantity merchandise — we are unable to offer returns or exchanges.
This ensures we can offer maximum value to students while operating sustainably as a nonprofit.
Do You Partner with Student Orgs?
Yes — and we love it.
We work with fraternities, sororities, business clubs, cultural orgs, student governments, and more. Partner orgs can help host events, receive shared revenue, and gain leadership experience while giving back to campus.
Can I Help Promote College Liquidation?
Yes — join our Brand Ambassador or CLX chapter program! You can earn free merch, resume-building experience, content spotlights, and more by helping spread the word on your campus or online.
Where Are You Located?
College Liquidation is headquartered in the U.S., with a national operations hub and distribution center. Our reach includes both Northern and Southern California campuses, and we are expanding across the country.
Want to bring us to your school?
Can I Donate or Sponsor a School?
Yes. You can donate directly, sponsor an event, or fund a permanent presence at a school. We also offer donation options as part of your checkout process.
Custom sponsorships are available for:
* Alumni groups
* Local businesses
* Foundations
* Student governments
Can Non-Students Shop?
Yes — anyone can support the mission by purchasing online or donating. While pop-ups are designed for students, faculty, staff, alumni, and families are welcome to join Drip+ or shop online when available.
Are You a Real Nonprofit?
Yes — College Liquidation is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Our structure is mission-driven, impact-focused, and built to grow with transparency and community benefit at the core.
Is This the Same as a Thrift Store?
No — we don’t sell used items. College Liquidation offers brand-new, name-brand items that have been overproduced, discontinued, or liquidated from major retailers and suppliers. Think of it as a campus-first clearance network — but nonprofit and purpose-built.
Where Do the Products Come From?
College Liquidation sources all products through a combination of:
* Liquidation purchases
* Brand or distributor donations
* Overstock and surplus procurement
These are often items originally intended for major retailers, manufacturers, or licensed distributors. Our products are sourced from a mix of overstock, closeouts, and liquidated merchandise from trusted suppliers and brands. We work with vetted suppliers to ensure that every product is new or like-new and appropriate for student distribution.
Why Do Brands or Distributors Donate or Liquidate These Items?
Brands often face:
* Overstock from seasonal collections
* Returns or unsold inventory
* Marketing samples or discontinued items
Rather than destroy this inventory (which is common in fashion and retail), some brands and suppliers choose to liquidate or donate these items. This allows them to reduce waste while helping nonprofits like us support students.
Are the Items New?
Yes. All items are brand new or like-new condition, unless otherwise noted. Our inventory includes:
* Overstock
* Shelf-pulls
* Unused returns in like-new condition
* Discontinued styles
* Donation batches from distributors
We do not sell used, worn, or damaged goods. Every item undergoes quality control before distribution.
Can You Guarantee Brand Authenticity?
No. Due to the nature of the secondary liquidation market, we are legally prohibited from guaranteeing or marketing any item as “authentic” — even if it appears to be.
Here’s why:
* Many brands include “no resale” or “no marketing” clauses once products are liquidated or donated.
* This protects their retail pricing, brand image, and authorized reseller relationships.
As a result, we do not use any brand relationship claims as of now in our marketing, and we make no guarantees of authenticity. This protects both our nonprofit and the brands we work adjacent to.
All sales are final. No claims of brand authenticity are made.
Why Should I Trust This Model?
College Liquidation is a mission-first nonprofit that operates with integrity. We:
* Work with reputable liquidation and donation partners
* Perform internal quality control on all goods
* Focus on access, equity, and sustainability over profit
This model allows us to bring incredible value to students, reduce global waste, and create educational and leadership opportunities on campus — all while complying with industry standards.
Why does This Matter?
The resale and liquidation ecosystem is complex — but if used ethically, it creates massive social good:
* Keeps quality merchandise out of landfills
* Puts real goods into the hands of students who need them
* Builds a more equitable fashion and essentials economy
By shopping with us, you’re not just getting great deals — you’re helping rewrite what access looks like on college campuses.
Can I Post About What I Bought on Social Media?
Absolutely! We love when students share their hauls, outfits, or pop-up experiences — just tag us and let others know the impact behind the deal.
Please note: while you may recognize certain brands or styles, we cannot confirm or promote brand authenticity in your posts.
When Will You Be Back on My Campus?
We aim to visit active campuses as much as possible. You can follow us on Instagram or join Drip+ to get event alerts, exclusive drop dates, and early access.
Want us to return or set up a chapter at your school?
Do You Restock the Same Items?
Inventory changes constantly. Get the inventory while its still available!!
Because we work with liquidation and surplus goods, our items are often limited-run, one-time-only drops. If you see something you love — grab it! There’s no guarantee we’ll get it again.
Can I Volunteer or Intern With You?
Yes! Many of our events are staffed by student leaders and volunteers. You can:
* Join your school’s CLX chapter
* Apply as a Drip+ brand ambassador
* Help host an event for your student organization
How Are You Funded?
College Liquidation is funded through a mix of:
* Product revenue from events and online sales
* Monthly donations via Drip+
* Grants, sponsorships, and mission-aligned partners
* Volunteerism and in-kind support from student orgs
We are building a self-sustaining nonprofit model designed to grow nationally without relying solely on donations.
What Else Do You Do Besides Pop-Ups?
We also support students through:
* CLUE: Wellness & equity initiatives on campus
* CLX: Student chapters that foster entrepreneurship and sustainability
* CLIC: A national network for ESG innovation, logistics, and impact
We’re more than a store — we’re a movement.
Do You Offer Job Training or Career Help?
Yes! Through partnerships, we offer:
* Resume workshops
* Personal branding & career storytelling sessions
* “AMA” talks with entrepreneurs and industry professionals
* Early access to impact-based internships via our network
Members of Drip+ get first notice of new sessions and limited access offerings.
What If My School Doesn’t Approve Vendors Easily?
We’ve worked with many large institutions and are familiar with university procurement policies, vendor registration, and compliance. We tailor our setup to align with campus expectations — and provide full documentation where needed.
If your school needs a W9, nonprofit ID, insurance certificate, or letters of good standing, we’ve got it covered.
